North Cyprus
Crystal water, mountain villages, a long history and a slow Mediterranean day. These are the places and practicalities we actually point our guests toward.

A two- to three-minute walk. Free entry for IRINA Living guests until the resort’s own beach club opens in 2027. Paddleboards and jet skis can be rented here.

Sea
Morning runs, an easy stroll, or the last light on the water. The walkway starts a few minutes from the door.

Table
Italian cooking on the property itself — the easiest table of the week.

Table
Mediterranean plates on a terrace over the water, two or three minutes on foot, together with Suna’s own kitchen.

Town
About ten minutes by car, thirty on the dolmuş. Harbour, castle and the old streets. Boat trips leave from the harbour. In the evening the clubs and casinos are the same short drive.

Town
The island’s great ancient city — a day for the columns, the sea and a long lunch afterwards. More sights sit on the list we give guests.

Practical
The currency is the Turkish lira, but cards and cash in euro, sterling or dollars are widely accepted. For two weeks, the equivalent of €50–100 in lira is usually enough for parking and small offices. EU roaming does not cover the north — a local SIM or eSIM is the calm choice.

Practical
A supermarket, an ATM and a rental desk are a short way along this coast, so the first day does not need a hunt.

Practical
A northern rental generally may not cross south without a special agreement. A southern rental often needs extra insurance at the checkpoint, usually liability only. Driving is the best way to see the island; we can point you to a rental. In a medical emergency call 112.
